Hello Dolls!
It is crazy that it is now November which means that the holidays are nearly here. This year is a little different with the pandemic but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. Whether you are having socially distanced parties or family get togethers, I always find myself look for things to bring the gracious host/hostess. Dinner parties as you know can be super stressful. Thats why I think it is super fun to bring something special. The problem is what do we bring to dinner parties? I wanted to make this quick, simple guide for you to bring something fabulous and make a statement. There are so many chic things in your local stores right now that are thoughtful, different and don’t break the bank. So sit back, grab a martini and lets go.
Netara Herb Planter Set By Anthropologie in Grey
I know what you are thinking. You would never think to bring basil to a house. Everyone needs some herbs and bringing a beautiful terra cotta planted with a small herb garden is thoughtful and useful. I love the gifting route when going to a dinner party. What is perfect about this is that it is something that they can use right away. The herbs I suggest are parsley, basil and rosemary. They’re extremely easy to grow and used in a bunch of dishes. Potted herbs are perfect for the host that loves to cook or garden.
Le Cadeaux Melamine Bowl & Tray Set
This gorgeous platter and bowl set is from Neiman Marcus and it is sure to fit any host or hostess wants and needs. First off we love something that doesn’t break the bank but is still gorgeous and this baby is only $40. Imagine a chip and dip situation on this…the juxtaposition…I CAN’T. I know for me the holidays I use every platter that I have ever owned and always feel like I am missing something. What is even better than just bringing this? Fill it with your own recipe and gift them a snack and a platter. Just gorgeous.
Mikasa Electric Boulevard Stemless Wine Glasses, Set of 4
A bottle of vino is always a show stopper. Try a robust chianti or a crisp chardonnay. I think that it is customary to bring a nice bottle but have you ever thought of bringing the stemware? These gorgeous wine glasses are enough to make any hostess feel appreciated. They’re simple and classic to fit in with any decor but with a little spice. The price you ask? To die for! You can get these for $58.00.
One Kings Lane Hadley Faux Fur Throw
Baby it is about to be cold outside. Bring you host this stunning One Kings Lane throw. Perfect for all decor and comes in this beautiful rose mink! It is to die for. Go get yourself one while you are at it. Treating yourself is also apart of the holiday season. I love bringing something cozy that the hostess can wrap up in after everyone has gone home. Perfection!
Michael Aram Wisteria Wine Coaster and Stopper Set
Isn’t this just stunning? I love things that are different and functional and this hits all of the marks. This beautiful wine coaster and cork set is for the host that has everything. This just screams holiday party in my opinion and can be brought for a multitude of outings. The gold trim makes it so unique while also making it a decor piece as well as a coaster.
The holidays can be a stressful time. I am hoping that this mini guide is a perfect reliever of stress. Remember that during this time it is important to be around those you love and care about. Look out for my gift guides for the men and children in your life.
Cheers Dolls!
