My top 5 favorite resorts in Mexico

Planning a vacation and knowing where to stay in a foreign country can be quite stressful, especially if it’s your first time visiting. Half the battle of taking a vacation is all of the planning and accommodations you have to make before arriving, the other half is getting there. Mexico has an incredibly large number of all inclusive resorts, so this can be very overwhelming to for beginners. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of my top 5 favorite resorts to visit in Mexico, so you don’t have to do all the work!

1. Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos
Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos is located in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Mexico. This resort is one of the most luxurious Mexico has to offer. This adults-only only resort is the perfect getaway for honeymoons or anniversaries. The large property feels like it’s own little paradise, with everything that you could possibly want located right in the resort. Le Blanc promises that you’ll enjoy every meal with their fine dining options, top shelf drinks, and 24-hour room service. The resort has a very calm vibe compared to other resorts around them, and they even offer in-room aromatherapy.

2. Excellence Playa Mujeres, Cancun
Another adults-only all-inclusive resort is Excellence Playa Mujeres. Located 30 minutes outside of Cancun, the resort offers all of the thrills of Cancun without being in the center of the bustling night life the city has to offer. It’s exactly what their name says, Excellence! The resort has 7 swimming pools for guests to choose from , a Greg Norman signature golf course, and a list of other activities to keep guests busy. 3. Grand Velas Riviera Maya – Riviera Maya
The Grand Velas Riviera Maya – Riviera Maya is named one of the most luxurious all-inclusive resorts in the world. Unlike the former 2 resorts, this resort is kid friendly, so it’s the perfect family getaway. The resorts “Ambassador Experience” program has activities for everyone age 4 and up. You can take a family adventure to go snorkeling or let your kids enjoy the Kids and Teens clubs there. The feel of the resort is suggestive of the Rivera Maya with a lot of greenery and tropical trees on the landscape. This large resort has 8 different specialty restaurants, specializing in cuisines from around the world.

4. Banyan Tree Mayakoba
Breathtaking. Mythical. Elegance. These are some of the common adjectives used to describe the unique Banyan Tree Mayakoba resort. This resort was voted “Best of the Best” in Mexico in 2018 by Travel & Leisure.
