Hey, gorgeous! Ever heard the quote “You call it girls night, I call it therapy”? I know we are all full of questions, or dealing with a lot of stress, or anxiety right now. And to be honest, sometimes we just need a break. In my opinion, the perfect way to take a break is simple… Girls Night. But, rather than the normal GNO, today’s blog post will offer three suggestions for the ideal Girls Night In (GNI). Between these three ideas, I truly believe you and your girl gang will be able to find a theme you love.
Craft Night
We are all looking for fun, DIY ways to make our house look fabulous. There are many amazing blogs out there with great crafting ideas you will love to do with your friends. Check out The House That Lars Built and The Spruce Crafts for some inspiration and ideas. Choose the craft(s) you ladies want to make, place an order at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s, go pick up your supplies, and get the party started!
Online Cooking Class
Cooking classes are so educational, and so much fun. Thanks to COVID-19, it is not as easy to find a cooking class to attend in-person. Hence, online cooking classes. According to Delish.com, some great online cooking class options can be found at Udemy, Rouxbe, The Chef & The Dish, and ChefSteps. An online cooking class can be fun, and delicious!
At-Home Movie Night
From a distance, you can use a platform like NetflixParty to watch a movie or show simultaneously with your friends. But, if you are all in the same place, an at-home might night can be a fabulous way to wind down, and relax with your girlfriends. Choose a good chick-flick, make some cocktails, pop some popcorn, and wear your pajamas. Cozy up in the comfort of your own home or your bestie’s living room with blankets, and enjoy a night with no work or responsibilities.
Ladies, I hope that these Girls Night In suggestions inspire you to call up your friends, and plan a fun, and stress-free evening. The best part about all of these suggestions is that even if you are practicing “social-distancing”, or even if you are just in a long-distance friendship, all of these suggestions can be done via FaceTime. Friendship goals during a pandemic, right? Please let us know if you end up hosting a girl’s night and share photos with us on Instagram using the hashtag #GirlsNightInWithReInventing50s.
