My jaw hit the sand when I finally realized what was washing up on the shore on these beaches. Go ahead and book your flight to California for this fall to see what you stumble upon. You will be glad you did. In today’s blog post we are going to dive in to my five favorite beaches in California. But, not just that! I will also tell you the shocking things I have found on these beaches, too.
Del Mar in San Diego- Just North of San Diego, you will find Del Mar. Which literally means “By the Sea”! Fabulous food, horse races, and a perfect place to take a sunrise jog. Del Mar is the ultimate beach to relax at. 
Point Dume in Malibu- This California State Beach is small in size, but not in beauty! Between volcanic rock cliffs, gorgeous tide pools, sea stars, and even octopi, you are bound to see things you will be amazed by! Back in World War II, this beach was even used as an anti-aircraft artillery training base. Pretty cool, right?
Point Reyes in Northern California- Point Reyes National Seashore is the place to be to see gorgeous sunsets, lots of nature, and more! Point Reyes is very passionate about preserving the natural habitat for the marine life, so you can expect to see a clean beach, and wildlife. 
Laguna Beach in Laguna Niguel California- All I can say is WOW! This beach is truly breathtaking. Whether you are looking for a place to swim, a place to bring your furry friend, or somewhere to catch some waves on your surfboard, Laguna Beach has you covered.
Half Moon Bay- Looking for the perfect beach to lay in the sunshine, go fishing, or enjoy a picnic? Look no further! Half Moon Bay State Beach is the place for you!
Okay, okay I know what you are wondering. WHAT IS IT? What is so surprising that washes up on these beaches? Well, it is happiness. Most everyone knows that when they spend a day on the beach they will find beautiful shells, maybe a jellyfish or two, and stunning rocks. But, what most people don’t think about is that they will find a sense of happiness they can only find at the ocean. But, don’t just trust me!
