Beach Days: 11 Essentials

We all deserve a beach day. Whether you are living near the ocean, visiting the nearest lake, or enjoying another body of water… I believe the best days are the ones spent in the sand. Living in California, I would say I am a self-proclaimed beach day expert! So, I wanted to share my expertise with you today, to share the 11 Essentials you need for a successful day at the beach.

Beach Days: 11 Essentials

Sun Visor

A sun visor is a fabulous way to protect your skin from the sun. I do not go to the beach without one! Not only keeps your skin protected, but also holds your hair back for the day.

Water Bottle

Hydration is key, amigas! And having a fabulous water bottle makes staying hydrated easier. Invest in a good quality water bottle, so you will remember to keep drinking your water, and staying cool in the sunshine.

Cooler Bag

Having a good cooler bag makes a beach day so simple. Pack a simple lunch for you, and your group in a cute cooler bag before you head out for the day, and enjoy a homemade lunch on the beach. No need to spend a lot of money, or lose your great spot on the beach to enjoy your lunch!

Beach Towel

A beach towel is probably the #1 most important item to have, right? A towel can be used for many different things on the beach, so it is so crucial to have one. You can use it to dry off, protect your skin from the sun, use it as a blanket to eat on, cover up items you don’t want exposed… so versatile!

Beach Shoes

We all need a good pair of beach shoes that we don’t mind wearing in the sand, or even to walk down into the water wearing. A great pair of slides are a good choice! Comfortable, easy to rinse off, and small enough to throw in your beach bag. Gotta have it!

Supergoop Sunscreen

My frequent blog readers know… Supergoop sunscreen is my go-to. I love all of the different variations of Supergoop’s product, and I know you will too. Supergoop is made of great ingredients, smells great, and protects your skin from the sun.

Waterproof Speaker

This has become a really popular item to pack for the beach. Most of us love to enjoy some music, an audiobook, or a podcast when you are outdoors enjoying the sunshine. No matter what you choose to listen to, having a waterproof speaker can make your beach day so enjoyable. Make sure it is bluetooth compatible, so your phone can connect to it wirelessly!

Beach Umbrella

Obviously you don’t want to end up sun burnt, right? Grab a good beach umbrella to protect your skin from the sun when you know you need a break. These types of umbrellas are fabulous to pack on a beach day to relax under, to snack under, or to read under.

Beach Bag

Having a beach bag is crucial. Where else would you keep all of your beach day goodies? It is best to choose a bag that is made of a material like straw, or something similar. These types of bags are best for the sand, and best for the sun.

Outdoor Chair

It is so useful to have a comfortable chair you can recline in, and clean off easily. It is great to find a lightweight chair that folds up, and you can even keep it in your trunk.

Baby Bum Hand Sanitizer

This delightful hand sanitizer smells like SUMMER and the beach! During this pandemic, it is important to carry around a good hand sanitizer even when you are outside.
