A Different Take on Easter

Easter at Home with Reinventing 50s

Life really and truly is what you make of it. These days with all the social distancing and lack of physical contact with our loved ones, it’s so easy to let our plans fall apart. Our workout goals, our healthy eating habits, our digital screen times, holiday traditions…all of it, out the window.

This year might not look like it has in the past, surrounded by family with endless amounts of brunch options but it’ll still be special. I’ve decided to make the best of it and invite you to do the same!

I’ll be cooped up and enjoying a nice homemade brunch with my hubby, the kids, and hopefully my granddaughter Jordyn; soaking in the sunshine and taking a step back to appreciate all of the blessings God has placed in my life. We are lucky, friends! Lucky to be alive and healthy, with roofs over our heads surrounded by all the magic that is spring.

And for all you crafty chicas, I found this egg-dying tutorial that wowed me and is as simple as can be with things you have lying around your home and garden. It utilizes flowers and leaves as stencils and pantyhose and veggies as dyes. It’s genius and perfect for these times as it doesn’t require you to even leave your home for materials.

Have a blessed Easter weekend, ladies!

I bring the best of life over 50 to you and all your girls. I’m a wife, a mother to college kids, and your new, fun online friend. I am going to show you a fantastic time while you are here.
