Galentine’s Day is coming up quickly and it has been a super popular trend ever since Leslie Knope from the hit  T.V. show Parks and Recreation created the term. The day is officially February 13th, just right before Valentine’s Day. If you have never celebrated Galentine’s Day it is not too late to start the trend within your own group of friends! It is the perfect all-inclusive way to spread the love to your favorite girlfriends (single and in and in a relationship) that you value them and appreciate their companionship. Whether it’s you and your favorite gal pal or you and your whole crew, I’ve curated a great list of activities to make the day extra special for you and your friends. Check it out below.

Schedule a Spa Day:

Who doesn’t love Spa Days? If there’s ever a perfect time to chill out and pamper yourself, this holiday is it.  They are  one the best ways to rest  and unwind  with your best girlfriends. Whether you have a spa salon already in mind that you visit already or thinking of hosting a spa day in your home, there are many different ways to make this day as relaxing as possible. You could get your friends together to try some of the latest products you’ve been meaning to try! Complete the spa day by gifting your friends with care packages full of sample sizes of the products that you tried out.

Host a party

Hosting a party can be as grand or as simple as your heart desires. The first step is to figure out just what kind of party you want to have. A brunch party, a dinner party, movie viewing, and many more are all great ideas and great excuses to gather together.

Take a cooking class

Cooking classes aren’t just for couples! They are a fun way to learn new recipes and show off your cooking skills (if you have them). If you don’t then that’s even more of a reason this activity should be on your Galentine’s Day to do list.

Wine tasting + Hike

If you are fortunate to live close to great hiking trails or a winery, then this is a great option for you. It’s the perfect combination being healthy and indulgent. Search around the web for local hiking trails that you can take your girls too that may be close to wine vineyard. Your girlfriends will thank you for it!

Paint & Sip

Paint &Sip Parties are super popular because they offer a way for you to kick back and express yourselves creatively while giving your best (tipsy) shot at being the next Picasso.  Many Paint & Sip studios offer public and private parties to accommodate the number of people with you.
